David Musser is an airbrush artist from Selinsgrove, Pa. He studied fine arts at Edinboro University, as well as advertising art at Williamsport Community College.
His first introduction to an airbrush, was in the mid 1970’s He purchased an airbrush and started doing murals for a local street rod builder. Being in his teens, Dave finished high school and went on to college.
After studying art for five years he went into the jewelry industry. For the next twenty-four years Dave repaired, designed and managed for retail stores in the jewelry industry,
While competing in racing events at the Selinsgrove Speedway, Dave noticed that some of the drivers had custom painted helmets. After questioning the drivers, he decided to paint his own helmet. Immediately, offers started coming in. Other drivers wanted their helmets painted by Dave. Tailgates, hoods, motorcycles, etc. started becoming targets for the airbrush. Dave’s spare time is now devoted to creating some of the most original murals found in Central Pa.
